Early Access Journey

The Road to 1.0

Blood Moon Horror is evolving based on player feedback. Here is what is live from the Steam update path, what is in active development, and what belongs to the wider Early Access plan.

Phase 1 LIVE NOW (100%)

Steam Early Access Foundation

The live Early Access foundation focuses on 1-8 player co-op, electrical puzzle teamwork, spectator flow, and stronger multiplayer stability.

Implemented Features

  • â–ª Steam co-op support: Single-player, online co-op, and LAN co-op for 1-8 players.
  • â–ª Enemy pressure: Steam describes threats that react to sound, movement, light, and electrical activity.
  • â–ª Core puzzles: Electric Switch, Circuit Breaker, Lights Out, Circuit Trace, and Circuit Reroute.
  • â–ª Voice chat: Toggleable voice chat and speaking indicators shipped in the 0.5 update path.
  • â–ª Steam systems: Achievements, cloud saves, stats, and leaderboards are part of the current public surface.
Phase 2 IN DESIGN

Active Early Access Systems

The public Steam roadmap points at fuse box and generator puzzles, additional enemy types, expanded customization, shop improvements, visual upgrades, and optimization work.

Active Development

  • â–ª New objective variety: Fuse box and generator puzzle work is part of the active development plan.
  • â–ª Additional enemy types: More threats are planned while current enemies continue to get clearer behavior and better balance.
  • â–ª Customization and shop: Expanded survivor customization and shop improvements remain on the Early Access path.
  • â–ª Optimization work: Performance, stability, visual upgrades, and run readability continue between larger content updates.
Phase 3 UPCOMING (5%)

Deeper Horror & 1.0 Release

Long-term objectives planned to finalize the core loop, expand the lore, and prepare the game for leaving Early Access.

On The Horizon

  • â–ª Expanded sectors and maps: More spaces inside and around Lunar Base Alpha are planned for future updates.
  • â–ª Story content: More Red Horizon and NovaTech context can deepen the investigation as new content ships.
  • â–ª Deeper narrative paths: Data collection can lead to escape, full revelation, or corruption endings.
  • â–ª Replay variety: More objectives, cosmetics, progression rewards, sanity effects, and ongoing polish are listed for future updates.
