Mission

Why Blood Moon Horror exists

A co-op horror project built around tension, quiet teamwork, and honest development updates.

Blood Moon Games is a one-person indie studio founded by Stivan Ivanov. Blood Moon Horror started as a solo effort to build co-op horror around real coordination instead of scripted jump scares. The core rule that survived from the earliest prototypes was simple: if the mechanic does not make players talk, listen, or second-guess each other, it probably does not belong in the game.

Systemic pressure

Objectives, sound, light, and power should create decisions under stress, not just isolated jump scares.

World-first design

Interfaces, terminals, lighting, and environmental clues should feel like part of Lunar Base Alpha whenever possible.

Community feedback

Steam comments, Discord reports, and hands-on player feedback directly influence what gets refined next.

Values

What guides our Blood Moon Horror roadmap

Core principles that shape every feature and decision.

Community-first development

Player reports from Steam and Discord shape priorities. The goal is to keep the project responsive without pretending every idea is promised or ready.

Readable and usable

Menus, forms, captions, and settings should stay clear on desktop and mobile. Polish is part of trust, not decoration.

Quality over quantity

Every feature must serve the core experience. We'd rather ship one polished mechanic than ten half-baked ones. Blood Moon Horror grows thoughtfully.

Transparent development

Roadmaps, Steam announcements, and direct replies should explain what changed, what still needs work, and what is still just a plan.
